The Friendly Dose started playing in early 2006. Originally the line up was Brandon Lane and Brian Novasak (B-Nova) on guitar and vocals, and Corrie Lane (Iris) played keys and sang back-up vocals.
After writing several songs, and playing two shows, the Dose agreed on finding a drummer to complete the sound that they worked so hard on developing. Shortly after, the band recruited Chris Diccico on drums. Things have been going very well for them ever since.
Keep your eye on the Dose, because they are working extremely hard to produce the best music that they are capable of. Their mission is to get indie rock back on the right rack. They’re all heavily influenced by 90’s bands such as: Sebadoh, Guided by Voices, Flaming Lips, Heatmiser (Elliott Smith), and many more. As a band they hope that you will enjoy their work like they have enjoyed so many other great artists in the past.
Take a friendly dose.
